Application for Projects in Area of Culture

Local government has opened the application for co- financing and financing programmes and projects in the area of culture in 2011. The competition should be opened in the next 15 days and application can be found at www.pancevo.rs, stated town council member for culture Nada Berkuljan.

State Championship in Standard Dances in Pancevo

State Championship in standard dances will be held on Sunday, February 27^th in Sports Hall in Pancevo. The qualifying championship should start at 16.00 and finals at 20.00. More than 120 pairs from all around Serbia will take part in the championship. The best pairs should present our country on European and world competitions. The event is organised by Dance Organisation of Serbia.

Criminal Allegations against Persons for Planting Bombs

Pancevo Prosecution ha received four criminal allegations for reasonable doubt in cases of fake bomb planting in primary and secondary schools in Pancevo. These assaults happened in the past 14 months. Pancevo Police has successfully identified the perpetrators of these acts in 80% of the cases in past.

Pancevo and Kovacica on Belgrade Tourist Fair

On 33^rd International Tourist Fair in Belgrade there are 900 participants from 43 countries. Among them is Pancevo with its green tourism, which presents the town's possibilities for green tourism. Kovacica is featuring its well known brand- naive art. The discounts for summer vacations are up to 20%.
